Sustainability

We firmly believe that any enterprise – in many ways – can change its environment for the better. Sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) activities are an important part of doing business for us.

Sustainability

What do we do in terms of ESG?

The ESG goals we have set for ourselves are in line with our strategy and main task of supporting entrepreneurs in the SME sector – our clients. We also don’t forget about other stakeholder groups, such as employees, partners, the public and bondholders.

This year, for the second time, we detailed our ESG activities in our annual Sustainability Report 2025.

What have we done so far and what are we working on in 2025?

Responsibility to society

Digitalization of financial services — we develop solutions available to customers 24/7, based on automated scoring, flexible repayment models, and the integration of financial services into partner environments. We maintain a high level of customer satisfaction — our NPS stands at 61.
Advanced credit risk management — we leverage unique data from our partners and continuously develop our scoring models. This allows us to assess risk more effectively and keep it at a lower level than with standard business loans. In factoring, we also offer receivables insurance, which provides clients with information about a counterparty’s solvency even before entering into cooperation with us.
Data security — we hold ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certifications and align our processes with the requirements of the NIS2 Directive. As part of European Cybersecurity Month, we organized an online lesson attended by over 6,400 students from across Poland.
Educating entrepreneurs through the Pragmatic Business Academy. We share financial knowledge in a practical and accessible form — through e-books, industry reports, guides, newsletters, and webinars. In 2025, we produced reports in collaboration with Tpay, Cashless, and WhenYouBuy, the weekly Pragmatic Guide, and the “PRAGMAtic Review” newsletter, among others. We also held webinars with partners such as Przelewy24, Shoper, Tpay, Comfino, PayTel, and Polskie ePłatności, as well as a meeting with members of the Rybnik Industrial District Chamber of Commerce and Industry dedicated to financial liquidity and factoring.
We build a workplace culture based on respect and dialogue. We develop a professional team in which equal treatment, empathy, and open communication are paramount. We also care about work-life balance. In the 2025 Gallup Q12 survey, 82% of employees declared that they identify with the company, and 94% felt that their work is meaningful.
We value our employees’ commitment and loyalty. We regularly recognize long-tenured team members at quarterly meetings. The stability of our team is reflected in our low turnover rate — in 2025, it stood at 9%, compared with the market average of 19% according to Randstad.
We support the balance between work and family life. We create conditions that make it easier to combine professional responsibilities with caring for children and loved ones. In 2025, 19% of our employees were eligible for parental or caregiver leave. Of those, 61% of women and 5% of men took advantage of it.
We prioritize competence, diversity, and equal opportunity. In our recruitment processes, we are guided by the experience and skills of candidates, regardless of age or gender. We partner with the Talenti platform, which supports women in the job market. Women make up 54% of our workforce, and this figure remains stable year on year.
We care about our employees’ health and safety. We subsidize private medical care, sports packages, and life insurance. In 2025, we organized free flu vaccinations at the office. During this period, no workplace accidents were recorded.
In June 2025, we took part in a corporate sports challenge during which our team completed 114 hours of training, ran 585 km, walked 700 km, and cycled 2,070 km. We also participated in the spring edition of #PlatForma, organized by the Platinum Financial brokerage network — our 20-person team finished in 4th place, taking over 5 million steps, covering 6,650 km, and burning nearly 255,000 calories. At the initiative of our employees, we also held a company volleyball match, which fostered team bonding and helped build relationships beyond the office.
We invest in skills development. In 2025, our employees completed a total of 1,403 hours of internal and external training. Topics included financial products, cybersecurity, UX writing, compliance, and participation in industry conferences. We also launched the PragmaGO Academy on the Moodle platform, offering online training courses with quizzes, progress tracking, and on-demand access to materials.
Our employees took advantage of English language learning on the HeyLangu platform — in 2025, 3,908 lessons were held, totaling 3,501 hours of conversation. We are also growing our company library, which now includes 76 books and e-books, with 20 new titles added in 2025.
We foster a flexible and engaging work environment. We offer remote work with flexible hours, regularly survey employee satisfaction, and provide channels for anonymous idea submission. In 2025, we organized a team-building trip to Ustroń, a company St. Nicholas Day celebration with contests, and a volunteer walk with animals from the Ostoja Cztery Łapy Foundation.
We want to actively participate in the life of local communities, which is why we support social organizations, get involved in charitable initiatives, and promote financial education and entrepreneurship among young people.
W 2025 roku po raz kolejny dołączyliśmy do corocznego biegu charytatywnego Poland Business Run, organizowanego na rzecz osób z niepełnosprawnościami oraz po amputacjach.
In 2025, we once again joined the annual Poland Business Run, a charity event organized to support people with disabilities and those who have undergone amputations.
As part of our environmental efforts, we also collaborate with the Pszczoła Musi Być Ecological Foundation. At our headquarters in Katowice, we have installed an insect hotel and planted a flower meadow, which support the local ecosystem and the protection of pollinators.
We cooperate with the Amazonki Association, which supports patients at various stages of breast cancer treatment and recovery. It is especially meaningful to us that our colleague Anna is also actively involved in the Amazonki Tychy club, helping women through rehabilitation after cancer.
We supported the Ostoja Cztery Łapy Foundation through monthly financial contributions. Each year, the organization provides hundreds of animals with veterinary care, safe shelter, and help finding new homes.
Our efforts also extend to education. We partnered with the Warsaw Institute of Banking — an educational and expert organization that runs projects in financial education and cybersecurity, aimed at students, university learners, and teachers.
We have been present on the Catalyst market since 2011. As a public company, we fulfill our disclosure obligations in accordance with IFRS/IAS standards. We regularly publish financial statements, and since 2024 we have also made them available in English. Up-to-date information for investors is published at inwestor.pragmago.pl.
Since 2024, we have been working with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. In 2025, we signed a new agreement worth the equivalent of EUR 10 million. Our partnership with the EBRD confirms the high operational standards of PragmaGO and supports the sustainable development of B2B sector financing.
In 2025, we diversified our funding sources by increasing the share of bank loans in our financing structure. We entered into two new agreements with ING Bank Śląski: a revolving credit facility of PLN 50 million and a current account credit of PLN 30 million. This flexible financing structure strengthens the Group’s stability and secures further portfolio growth in 2026, including the expansion of operations in international markets.
We calculate credit risk provisions in accordance with banking accounting standards. Our annual consolidated financial statements are audited by PwC — one of the Big Four auditing firms.

Responsibility towards the environment

In 2025, we reduced our indirect emissions by 10% — from 37.11 to 33.33 tonnes of CO₂e. This was the result of consistently implemented measures to reduce energy consumption and increase the share of renewable energy in our operations.
Direct emissions rose by 14% — from 116.41 to 132.5 tonnes of CO₂e. This increase was primarily due to the inclusion of the Romanian company Telecredit IFN in our reporting for a full 12 months for the first time since its acquisition in December 2024.
In 2025, our fleet consisted of 27 vehicles. As many as 25 of them were hybrids, and one was a plug-in hybrid. The systematic replacement of our fleet with lower-emission vehicles helps us reduce the carbon footprint of our day-to-day operations.
Since 2024, PragmaGO’s main headquarters in Katowice has been powered entirely by 100% renewable electricity, certified by CERT.
In April 2025, we installed solar panels at our Katowice office. Over the course of the year, the installation generated 33.7 MWh of energy, equivalent to savings of 13,429 kg of CO₂.
We monitor our energy consumption and consistently implement measures to reduce it. In 2025, total energy consumption decreased by 18% year-on-year — from 104,736 kWh to 85,708 kWh. Per employee, this translates to 455.9 kWh, compared with 560.1 kWh in 2024.
Water consumption decreased by 5% — from 360 m³ to 340 m³. Per employee, this amounted to 1.8 m³, compared with 1.92 m³ in 2024.
We regularly analyze the share of industries with potentially higher CO₂ emissions in our portfolio. In 2025, the largest shares were held by: retail trade (19.37%), TSL — transport, shipping, and logistics (16.58%), and wholesale trade.
We design our products in digital form, which is not only convenient for our customers but also environmentally friendly. Moving our processes into the digital space allows us to reduce paper consumption, cut down on courier shipments, and limit business travel. Lending services in the embedded finance model are based on a paperless approach — customers accept contract terms via an SMS code, and paper documents become entirely unnecessary in the case of Merchant Cash Advance or PragmaPay. For factoring, clients can sign documents electronically through the Autenti platform or with a qualified electronic signature.
We estimate that thanks to digital contracts in 2025, we saved 213.5 reams of paper, the production of which would have required 13 trees. We also reduced the number of courier shipments by 53,376, which helped avoid the consumption of 10,675 liters of fuel and the emission of 28,610 kg of CO₂.

Responsible management and corporate governance

We have prepared an internal register of applicable laws and regulations relevant to PragmaGO S.A.’s operations. It covers areas including information security, personal data protection, cybersecurity, ESG, and AML. The register serves as a reference point for maintaining legal compliance and supports the management of regulatory risk.
We carry out the technical and organizational measures required by applicable regulations. These include identifying and assessing risks, conducting Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments (FRIA), ensuring human oversight of high-risk systems, maintaining registers and decision logs, managing data quality, and following procedures for reporting incidents to the relevant supervisory authorities.
We analyzed the impact of the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) on our accounting and operational processes. As a result of this analysis, we updated our document workflow procedures, adapted our financial and accounting systems, carried out technical tests of document exchange, and trained the staff responsible for invoicing and settlements.
At PragmaGO, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and bribery. Every employee is required to comply with our anti-corruption policy, which sets out standards of conduct as well as principles for identifying and mitigating corruption risk. Anyone with knowledge of a potential corruption situation is obligated to report it to the President of the Management Board and the Legal Department.
